Our yoga lessons last approximately 75 minutes and are a combination of traditional Hatha Yoga, Taj Chi and breathing exercises as well as guided relaxation exercises and meditations. In addition to group lessons, we also offer private lessons in which we can respond individually to your needs.

In the individual exercises, we attach great importance to being mindful and gentle. Above all, they serve as relaxation and do not require any athletic ambitions. But you will notice that with regular practice, your body will feel more flexible, stronger and healthier within a short time.

Jin Shin Jyutsu® brings balance to our body’s energy system, promoting good health and well-being and empowering each of us to have our own profound self-healing power. It is a valuable and significant supplement to traditional healing methods as it causes deep relaxation and reduces the effects of stress.

Jin Shin Jyutsu® works with the twenty-six “safety energy locks” on the body’s front and back to harmonize the energy flow through our body. If one or more of these pathways becomes blocked, the resulting stagnation can disrupt the flow of energy in that zone and ultimately confuse the entire flow pattern of energy.  By stimulating these areas with gentle finger pressure and holding them in particular combinations along the body, the body’s energetic system is balanced and restored to a more harmonious state.

In Jin Shin Jyutsu®, we use our hands and fingers to touch and hold the “safety energy locks” to balance the flow of life energy throughout our bodies. This touch and hold is called “streaming”. Unlike other treatments that stimulate and soothe, Jin Shin Jyutsu® harmonizes energy by using simple holds without pressure or rubbing. In doing so, the balance in the body happens by itself. Simple exercises improve energy vibrations; thoughts calm down, emotions become balanced and the self-healing powers are strengthened.

Origin
Jin Shin Jyutsu® Physio Philosophy has been used for several thousand years to harmonize the life energy in the body. According to ancient records kept in the archives of the imperial palace in Japan, Jin Shin Jyutsu® was widely used even before the birth of the Gautama Buddha in India and Moses from the Bible (s. Kojiki, Records of Ancient Matters, Japan, AD 712). Jin Shin Jyutsu® is an innate part of human wisdom. Born of inner wisdom and passed on from generation to generation, this art was largely forgotten until it was revived by Master Jiro Murai in Japan at the beginning of the 20th century.
