Our yoga lessons last about 75 minutes and are a combination of traditional Hatha Yoga, Taj Chi and breathing exercises as well as guided relaxation and meditation. In addition to group lessons, we also offer private lessons where we can cater to your individual needs.

We attach great importance to the individual exercises being carried out in a mindful and gentle way. They are mainly for relaxation and do not require any sporting ambitions. However, you will notice that with regular practice your body will feel more flexible, stronger and healthier within a short time.

Jin Shin Jyutsu® brings balance to our body's energy system, thereby promoting health and well-being and strengthening the profound self-healing power that is inherent in each of us. It is a valuable and significant complement to conventional healing methods as it brings about deep relaxation and reduces the effects of stress.

Jin Shin Jyutsu® works with twenty-six "safety" energy locks on the front and back of the body within the energy pathways that bring life to our bodies. If one or more of these pathways are blocked, the resulting stagnation can disrupt the flow of energy in that area and ultimately upset the entire energy flow pattern. Holding certain combinations of the energy locks can rebalance us mentally, physically and spiritually.

In Jin Shin Jyutsu® we touch and hold our fingers and the "safety" energy locks with our hands to balance the flow of life energy within us. This touching and holding is called "flowing". Unlike other treatments that stimulate and calm, Jin Shin Jyutsu® harmonises energy by simply holding without pressure or rubbing. As a result, the balance in the body happens all by itself. Simple exercises refine the energy vibration; thoughts calm down, emotions are balanced and the self-healing powers are strengthened.

Jin Shin Jyutsu® Physio-Philosophy is a several thousand year old art for harmonising the life energy in the body.

According to ancient records kept in the archives of the Imperial Palace in Japan, Jin Shin Jyutsu® was widely practised before the birth of Gautama Buddha in India and that of Moses recorded in the Bible (see Kojiki, Record of Ancient Things, Japan, A.D. 712). Jin Shin Jyutsu® is an innate part of human wisdom.

Born from inner wisdom and passed down orally from generation to generation, this art had largely fallen into oblivion when it was revived in Japan at the beginning of the 20th century by Master Jiro Murai.
